Physicians

What We Treat

CyberKnife of Birmingham was developed to expand treatment options for physicians and their patients. Working in partnership with you we aim to deliver clinical excellence and compassionate care.

The CyberKnife® Radiosurgery System has a broad clinical application for both intracranial and extracranial radiosurgery. Clinical experience shows success in treatment of tumors in the head, neck and spine, as well as tumors of the lung, pancreas, liver, kidney, mediastinum, retroperitoneum and pelvis. When appropriate, we can also treat tumors in other areas of the body. Because CyberKnife® sharply sculpts dose and minimizes normal tissue radiation exposure compared with other systems, it effectively treats recurrent lesions following conventional radiation therapy.
